Taylor has been an adjunct professor at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI since 2013.
He has taught several classes in the Illustration department including:
- Professional Practices: a class on the business side of art/Illustration.
-Advanced Inking Techniques: a class on drawing in pen and ink.
-Publication Illustration: a class focusing on client and illustrator working relationship.
-Comic Book Illustration: a class focusing on illustrating comics.
-Introduction to Illustration: a core class for illustration students.
Due to Advanced Inking's consistent student demand, it has become a required course in the Illustration Department's curriculum.
